Specialist Officers (SO): Banks also hire candidates for specialist
profiles like – IT Officer, HR Officer, Marketing Officer, Finance Officer,
Law Officer, Agriculture Officer etc. Usually, the grade and the starting salary
of Specialist Officer is in the same range as Probationary Officers.
Process of Registration :-
The registration process will be through online mode only and there will be a single
registration for both Preliminary and Main examination, wherever applicable. Mode
of Payment Mode of payment of fees/intimation charges will be only online and the
channels for online.
Eligibility :-
- Age should be 21 - 30 years (add +3 yrs for OBC, +5yrs for SC/ST, +10yrs for PWD)
- Must have completed graduation in any of the following streams:

Selection Process :-
IBPS had decided a fixed criteria for selection of candidates under IBPS SO 2017.
All the applicants who are interested in the aforementioned posts will have to undergo
a online exam followed by personal interview to be shortlisted at the selected posts.
The candidates who qualify the online CWE of IBPS SO will be eligible to appear
for the personal interview.
